Location: Montgomery Hall, Augusta County, Virginia

Adeline, a daughter of Eliza, was appraised in 1847, $200.00. She was sold separately from her mother and brothers, Charles and Jerry, in 1851 to David A. Pitman, $300.00. Pitman lived in Augusta County, Virginia. Pitman died in 1855. His widow went to live with her family in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Adeline’s mother later had two additional daughters, Eliza S. and Mary E. They were sold with their mother and brother, Jerry, in 1853 to John Seawright. Seawright lived in Augusta County, Virginia. Adeline’s brother, Charles, was sold separately in late 1852.

Cyrus, also formerly at Montgomery Hall, was sold to David A. Pitman in 1850.
