Elissa and her infant were appraised together in 1847, $400.00. They were sold together at public auction at the Lower Farm on November 15, 1847 to Robert Sterrett, $516.00.

Robert Sterrett also purchased Tom and John.

Elissa had at least one other child, Emily, who also lived at the Lower Farm in 1847. Emily later went to live at Montgomery Hall. Emily was sold to E. May in 1849.
