Eliza

Location: Montgomery Hall, Augusta County, Virginia

Eliza was appraised separately from her children, Jerry, Adeline, and Charles in 1847, $450.00. She later had two more daughters, Eliza S. and Mary E. She was sold with Jerry, Eliza S., and Mary E. in 1853 to John Seawright, $1,200.00. Seawright lived in Augusta County, Virginia.

Adeline was sold to David A. Pitman in 1851. Pitman lived in Augusta County, Virginia. Pitman died in 1855 and his widow, Nancy (Grotz) Pitman went to live with her family in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Charles was sold in late 1852.

Eliza was under the care of Dr. B. B. Donaghe in 1853.
