Sally Smith

Location: Montgomery Hall, Augusta County, Virginia

Sally was appraised in 1847, $150.00. In December, 1850, John Lewis Peyton, acting as executor for his father’s estate, authorized George to look for a home for himself and a home for Sallie Smith. Jane, a daughter of Lucy, was brought to Montgomery Hall with her son, Sam, in December, 1847 and was also sold to A. D. Chandler.
